Michael Kamen--An American Symphony
Ok, so I might be cheating a little on this because I think this song makes me happy because of the movie it is in. One of my favorite movies of all time is Mr. Holland's Opus. Maybe it's because I love music so much. I remember growing up I considered being a music teacher because of this movie. The end scene of the movie, (what I have attached below) has always been one of my favorite scenes. If you haven't seen the movie before, it is amazing and you should take the time to watch it. Yes some of this is kind of cheesy but it is so much more powerful when you see the whole movie leading up to it. Anyway, if you don't want to watch the whole scene, you can just skip to the music which is at about 6:40. If you want to know the premise of the movie though you will get it just from watching this clip. It's quite touching. Go watch it sometime.
