Deer Family

No, this is not a letter to my family. I saw a family of deer walking across my street as I was pulling up to my house. What's that you're thinking? Yes, yes, I do live in an awesome place (despite my messy house). I take Cedar City for granted a lot. It is beautiful here. Though the town is a little behind when it comes to, well, anything, it is a great place to live and sometimes I can't help but appreciate the town's reluctance to modernize. It is needed but I can see why some residents wish to preserve its tradition and easy-going way of life. I need to take some time and appreciate the red rocks and beautiful sunsets we have here as I will soon depart from this great place.
