Back in the Swing of Things

You know, I kinda miss the days when the first week of school was a breeze and nothing big ever happened. But I shouldn't complain because I love my job. I love working with SUU administrators, students, and helping to make SUU a better place. Yeah, yeah, a little cheesy sounding but it is very rewarding. I have had a great experience as the Academic Vice President and I couldn't be working with better people. I have so many people that I can count on.

Things on my to-do list include:

Rework (for the 15th time) the Funding Policy.
Study for the LSAT (February 12 is the big day).
Clean my office.
Appoint a new Senator to represent the HSS College.
Appoint a Senator to represent the Graduate School.
Look for jobs.
Develop my Ping Pong skills.
Exercise.
Go somewhere cool because I am an adult now.
Earn money so that I can go somewhere cool.
Get some piano practice time in.
Learn how to play the banjo (this will always be on my to do list).

I noticed that my office is mess now so I am going to clean it and then I can check it off the list!

Wish me luck and wish the defending WAC champions, the SUU Gymnastics team, luck as they face off against defending national champs, UCLA, tonight! For some reason I have a feeling that saying I love going to gymnastics meets makes me a creep. But let's be honest, it's one of our most successful athletic programs and it's exciting! And they basically risk life and limb doing some of the things they do in their uneven bars, beam, vault, and floor routines. Yep, that's right, I know how it works. Unfortunately we are without our star athlete for the season because of a horrible injury to her leg. Anyway, should be fun. In addition, a pretty amazing girl is singing the National Anthem tonight. . .just sayin.
