Blog fixed

I really liked the way my blog looked before this recent change but there were so many issues with it that I had to make a change. Looks alright I guess.

Last night I went on a late night drive with Emily and Amber. We were just going to go up the canyon as there wasn't much to do but as we were driving, I had the brilliant idea of going all the way past Cedar Breaks to Panguitch Lake. Quite an adventure. We saw a huge elk in the middle of the road and deer everywhere as we went through the canyon to get to our destination. It was a beautiful night too. No moon, which made for great stargazing. I saw about 15 shooting stars while the girls saw none.

Panguitch Lake and the town itself always bring me fond memories of all the fishing trips we have taken and all the traditions we have when we go. I even requested we stop at the cemetery on our way through Panguitch, as I always do with my grandpa, to stop by my great grandparent's (Rulon and Lydia Church) graves. Luckily we found them despite the darkness and it was, as it always is for me, exciting to look at the graves of ancestors from long ago buried there and see the pioneer plaque on many of their graves and even a marker for the Mormon Battallion on one of my fore bearer's headstone. I quite enjoyed it all.

  1. You would have Mr. Hollands Opus on your play list. Also, I quite enjoyed the cemetery as well.
