Today I attended training at the Cedar City offices to head up SUU's information/publicity campaign for the 2010 Census. It is going to be a lot of work I believe but I'm kind of embracing any new opportunities that come my way in order to get as much varied experience I can and this should be a good one. Hopefully we can get everyone counted without having to knock too many doors. Interesting to note that based on the census, $400 billion of funds are allocated to different parts of the country which comes out to be over $1,000.00 per person so make sure to fill out the form when it comes in the mail so that you can see that funding distributed correctly and put to work in your community!
